The Rajasthan government has given a big gift to its citizens, in which the government is providing free insurance up to Rs 25 lakh. For this, the government started ‘Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana’. This scheme has been made keeping in mind not only the poor class people but also the middle class families. Rajasthan government has started the scheme. In which people with income up to Rs 8 lakh can apply for free.
If your income is less than Rs 8 lakh then you can apply
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot talked about this scheme. If your total income is less than eight lakh rupees then you are eligible for Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana. After this you will get the benefit of free insurance. The premium amount will be paid by the government for people belonging to Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes and Other Backward Classes. This scheme was started in the year 2021. Under which earlier cashless treatment up to Rs 5 lakh was provided. Which was later increased to ten lakh rupees. Now this year the Rajasthan government has increased this amount of insurance to Rs 25 lakh.
Which diseases are included?
Many serious diseases are treated under ‘Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme’ of Rajasthan Government. Which includes diseases like Covid 19, black fungus, heart surgery, organ transplant, neuro surgery, paralysis and cancer.
Provision of Rs 425 crore
Rajasthan government has made a provision of Rs 425 crore for this ‘Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme’. Along with this scheme, Rajasthan government has also started 25 mobile food testing ambulances and 10 Chiranjeevi Janani Express ambulances. So that people from economically weaker sections can get treatment at the right time.
