Stock Market Closing Bell- The stock market business ended with a slight rise on Wednesday. National Stock Exchange’s Nifty rose by about 31 points and closed at the level of 19437.65. A slight rise was recorded in Nifty Next 50 and it closed at the level of 45893. Nifty Midcap gained one percent while Nifty Bank recorded a weakness of about 0.19 percent. A weakness of 0.25 percent was also recorded in Nifty Financial Services. The Sensex of Mumbai Stock Exchange closed at the level of 64965 with a gain of 23 points on Wednesday.
A lot of fluctuations were recorded in the stock market during the day’s trading on Wednesday. Nifty Midcap 100 closed with a gain of one percent while BSE Small Cap index closed with a gain of 0.60 percent. A weakness of 0.21 percent was recorded in Nifty IT.
Shares of BPCL, Adani Ports, Asian Paint and Cipla were in the list of top gainers of the stock market, while shares of companies like ICICI Bank, NTPC, Infosys and Tech Mahindra were among the top losers of the stock market.
Energy stocks registered a rise due to weakness in crude oil prices. Out of nine listed companies of Gautam Adani Group, shares of 7 registered a rise while shares of Adani Total Gas and ACC Limited registered a weakness.
The maximum increase of 2.48 percent was recorded in Adani Power and 2.46 percent in Adani Ports. Shares of Adani Wilmar also closed with a rise of 0.36 percent on Wednesday. If we talk about multibagger shares, then the shares of Om Infra have managed to close at the level of Rs 105.
Shares of Kamdhenu Limited, Gati Limited, Mahindra & Mahindra recorded gains while shares of Tata Motors, Uni Parts, Exide Industries, Jio Financial, Patel Engineering, Devyani International and Stove Craft recorded weakness.
Shares of Patanjali Foods closed one percent higher while shares of Maruti Suzuki, Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank, Ashanisha Industries and Garbare Technical Fiber also gained. Axis Bank, Federal Bank, Garden Reach Ship Builder, IRCTC, Bajaj Finance, Weakness was recorded in stocks like SBI Card, Muthoot Finance on Wednesday.
