New Delhi: Stock Market Closing Bell– After Monday’s rise, weakness has been recorded in the stock market news on both Tuesday and Wednesday. On Wednesday, BSE Sensex fell by 283 points and closed at the level of 63591, while Nifty 50 index fell by 90 points and closed at the level of 18989. If we talk about the rising stocks in the stock market, the shares of Sun Pharma, BPCL, Hindalco and Bajaj Auto saw a rise. Nifty Midcap 100 index closed with a weakness of 0.32 percent while BSE Small Cap index also recorded slight weakness.
On Wednesday, during the period of weakness in the stock market, Nifty IT closed with a weakness of about one percent while Nifty Bank also closed in the red. Among the stocks showing weakness in the stock market, Adani Enterprises closed with a weakness of 3.37%, Coal India’s shares weakened by 2.41%, SBI Life weakened by 2.32% while Asian Paints’ shares saw a weakness of more than two percent.
If we talk about the shares which showed rise in the stock market on Wednesday, these included shares of Sun Pharma, BPCL, Hindalco and Bajaj Auto. In the volatile trading in the stock market, shares of Devyani International, Uniparts India, Om Infra, Patel Engineering and Kamdhenu Limited registered gains while shares of Gati Limited, Stove Craft and Jio Financial Services closed on the weakness.
Out of the nine listed companies of Gautam Adani Group, the shares of Adani Power Limited, the only one, registered a rise of 0.52% and reached the level of Rs 365 with a rise of ₹ 2. Maximum weakness of 4.23 percent was recorded in Ambuja Cement.
Along with this, weakness was recorded in all the shares of Adani Enterprises, Adani Wilmar, Adani Green Energy, ACC Limited, Adani Total Gas, Adani Ports and NDTV.
Talking about the stocks giving multibagger returns in the stock market, Reliance Industries and HDFC Bank Limited saw a rise while ICICI Bank, Tata Motors, Bajaj Finance, Federal Bank, SBI Card, Muthoot Finance, Ashnisha Industries, Infosys, Axis Bank and Patanjali. Weakness has been recorded in Foods shares. IRCTC shares closed at the level of Rs 653 with a weakness of two percent.
